Matthew Harvey
Position title: Incident Response Manager, CrowdStrike
Matthew is a Manager of Professional Services at CrowdStrike, specializing in the response and investigation of large-scale cyber intrusions. He has 20+ years of Computer Systems and Networking experience in both the public and private sectors. Matthew obtained an MS in Computer Systems from the University of Maryland Global Campus, where he is currently an adjunct professor in the Information Security program. Matthew has been a speaker at many events including ISACA, (ISC)2, NSA’s Information Assurance Symposium, and BSides. Matthew holds numerous SANS certifications in systems security, forensics, and penetration testing, as well as the CISSP, CEH, and Security+ certifications. He is also a veteran of the US Army, where he served as an infantry and military intelligence officer. When he’s not working, Matthew may be found spending time with his wife and three kids, out hiking, or (very slowly) running a marathon.
